Job summary

Fowler Care Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our leadership team. This full-time position covers the night shift (8:00 PM - 4:30 AM) on weekdays, with a focus on ensuring high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

The RN Supervisor will oversee nursing staff, act as the clinical leader for the facility during assigned hours, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver safe, effective patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program and licensed in the state.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Acute Care preferred but not required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Oversees nursing operations during the night shift.
• Ensures high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

• Records the administration of medication or any change in patient condition.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing operations during the night shift, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care, maintaining regulatory compliance, supervising nursing staff, and serving as the clinical leader for the facility during assigned hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Makes Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program and licensed in the state of practice.

• Candidates with a minimum of 1 year of in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Acute Care are preferred but not required.

• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.

• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care

• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team

• Records the administration of medication or any change in patient condition

• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility

• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies

• Performs other duties as directed
