Middletown Park Rehabilitation & Healthcare is a 230-bed facility in Middletown, NY seeking an RN Supervisor to organize and oversee nursing staff, monitor patient conditions, and administer medications. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care for geriatric and rehab residents.

The ideal candidate holds an NY RN license and has supervisory experience, with strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with physicians, families, and other staff.

Qualifications

• Current & good standing RN license in New York.
• Experience with geriatric/short term rehab/Alzheimer’s patients is desirable.
• Progressive nursing experience, supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• RN Supervisor organizes, oversees, and supervises assigned unit activities and staff assignments.
• Monitor, observe, and document vital signs, treatments administered, and patient responses.
• RN Supervisor will administer medications and treatments as needed.
• Communicate and direct services or any plan/concerns/information to appropriate team members, resident, family, or medical staff.
• Lead and direct emergency situations and maintain accurate nursing reports, staffing sheets, and census roster.

• RN Supervisor organizes/oversees/supervises assigned unit activities & staff assignments
• Demonstrates clinical expertise which is consistent with the established standards of Nursing Practice
• RN Supervisor will identify & respond, appropriately & timely, to patient needs
• Monitor, observe, & document vital signs, treatments administered, & patient responses.
• RN Supervisor will administer medications & treatments as needed
• Communicate & direct services or any plan/concerns/information to appropriate team members, resident, family, or medical staff
• Identify & follow disciplinary action as stated in policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, physicians, & other vendors/services
• Perform RN assessment to resident’s post incidents or change in condition
• Lead & direct emergency situations – (Fire, Elopement, etc.)
• Maintain accurate nursing report, staffing sheets, & census roster

Requirements

• Current & good standing RN License in State of New York
• Experience with geriatric/short term rehab/Alzheimer’s patients is desirable
• Progressive nursing experience, supervisory experience preferred
• Dedicated to providing extraordinary, quality, compassionate care to each resident
• Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, & elderly
• Have patience & willingness to assist any residents & co-workers
• Have excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, & organization skills
• Able to work well under pressure, flexible, & will work harmoniously with all staff
