Job summary

Park Avenue Extended Care is seeking a Part-Time RN Supervisor to provide clinical leadership during evening and overnight shifts in Long Beach, NY. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure care plans are followed, and maintain accurate records.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, NY RN licensure, and current BLS/CPR, Infection Control, and mandated NYS trainings. Prior nursing home and SigmaCare experience are preferred for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with active NY RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA or ARC).
• Infection Control Certificate completed.
• New York State Mandatory Child Abuse Reporting Training completed.
• Prior nursing home experience preferred; SigmaCare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, including orientation and ongoing training.
• Oversee implementation of resident care plans and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Serve as liaison between nursing staff and Unit Manager.
• Review daily patient conditions and occurrence reports; manage emergencies.
• Maintain patient records and prepare nursing care statistics.

Salary: $55/hour
