Job summary

Park Avenue Extended Care in Long Beach, NY is seeking a Part-Time RN Supervisor to provide clinical leadership during evening and overnight shifts.

You will supervise nursing staff, ensure care plans are followed, and coordinate with the Unit Manager to maintain regulatory compliance.

This role requires a NY RN license, BLS/CPR, infection control certification, and experience in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in New York.
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (AHA or ARC).
• Infection Control Certificate.
• NYS Mandatory Child Abuse Reporting Training Certificate.
• Nursing Home experience preferred.
• SigmaCare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, including orientation and ongoing training.
• Oversee implementation of resident care plans and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and Unit Manager.
• Review daily patient conditions, occurrence reports, and handle medical emergencies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and prepare nursing care statistics.

Salary: $55/hour
