Job summary

Blountstown Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) to lead nursing services on the evening shift. You will oversee resident care on the floor, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with the Director of Nursing to deliver safe, compassionate outcomes for every resident.

The ideal candidate has a nursing degree from an accredited college, current CPR certification, and at least two years’ direct care in long‑term or geriatric settings,

Qualifications

• A nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years minimum of direct care experience in long-term care, restorative or geriatric settings.
• One year minimum of experience as a nursing supervisor, preferably in a nursing home.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Must meet state licensure/certifications requirements and have no disciplinary action against the license.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and directs nursing services for residents on the floor assigned.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations and facility policies.
• Reviews staff complaints and grievances and reports to the Director of Nursing as required.
• Maintains adequate stock of medications, supplies, and equipment; notifies appropriate personnel of needs.
• Assists in developing assessments of nursing needs for residents.
• Makes nursing/aide assignments as indicated.
• Encourages staff to attend outside training programs and schedules times as appropriate.

  This is an EVENING Supervisor Position!

Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor Major Duties and Critical Tasks:

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and directs nursing services for residents on the floor assigned.

• Ensures compliance with current applicable federal, state and local regulations and facility policies and procedures.

• Reviews complaints and grievances made or filed by staff. Makes appropriate reports to the Director of Nursing as required or as necessary.

• Ensures an adequate stock of medications, medical supplies, equipment, etc., is always maintained on the unit to adequately meet the needs of the resident and notifies appropriate personnel of needs.

• Assists in the development of written preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the nursing needs of each resident.

• Makes nursing/aide assignments as indicated.

• Encourages staff to attend and participate in outside training programs and schedules times as appropriate.

Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor Education and Experience:

• A nursing degree from an accredited college or university.

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing direct care in long-term care, restorative or geriatric settings as an

• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a nursing supervisor, preferably in a nursing home setting

• Current CPR Certification.

• Must also meet state requirements for relevant licencures or certifications and have no disciplinary action in effect against professional license.
