Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Stroke Telemetry unit (5 South). This full-time, on-site night shift role runs 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM with a biweekly schedule of 72 hours and offers a potential sign-on bonus up to $30,000.

You will care for stroke and telemetry patients, collaborate with the care team, and administer medications, IV therapy, PCA/PCEA, and other therapies as needed in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care on a Stroke Telemetry unit (5 South) for stroke and general medical patients.
• Perform medication administration, IV therapy, and monitoring per unit protocols.
• Manage PCA/PCEA, oxygen therapy, blood transfusions, and wound care as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing assistants, and other health professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
