Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice is required
• 3 years of experience as a professional nurse in an acute care setting is required
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred
• Proficiency with computers, software, and web-based applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly to diverse stakeholders
• Knowledge of regulatory and accrediting standards and of quality management and continuous quality improvement
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (24/7, weekends, holidays, on call) and travel between facilities

Responsibilities

• Conducts report analysis on occurrences, outcomes and other indicators.
• Provides data analyses, trending reports, and direction for performance improvement initiatives at committees.
• Delivers education related to performance improvement, patient safety, and statistical analysis.
• Serves as a resource for regulatory requirements, including Joint Commission readiness.
• Participates in risk management through identification and follow-up of clinical issues.
