The unit features a 24-bed medicine floor with EPIC RealTime documentation and modern charting stations, with a population including cardiac and post-surgical patients. The RN will perform nursing care per the nursing process, require a Virginia RN license, and obtain BLS within 90 days

Qualifications

• RN degree required.
• Virginia RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Prior RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support patient safety and quality initiatives in the Step-Down Unit.
