Qualifications

• 18 months of nursing experience required.
• BSN degree required; master's preferred if the graduate degree is not in nursing, the BSN is required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Virginia RN license required.
• Professional Specialty Nursing Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for the assigned specialty area.
• Provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care and safety initiatives.
• Focuses on workflow simplification and staff development to improve customer service.
• Supports weekend day shift coverage as specified (Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon).
