Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Step-Down Unit. You will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care on a 24-bed medicine unit during the night shift (7p-7a). The role includes assessments, care planning, treatments, and family education, with opportunities to advance into ICU/ED paths.

Virginia RN license and BLS are required within 90 days. A sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and relocation packages are available to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• RN degree required and Virginia RN license.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Experience as RN preferred.
• Sign-on bonus up to $20,000; relocation packages available.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Deliver treatments and educate patients and families.
