St. Tammany Health System is seeking a qualified nurse responsible for overseeing patient care and supervising nursing staff. This role requires current RN licensure and certifications in BLS, ALS, and PALS.
The ideal candidate will have a Board Certified Nursing Program completion and must possess good physical health. The position demands the ability to work well in fast-paced and variable conditions.

Work Shift: mid shifts 9a-9p, 10a-10p, 11a-11p, 1p-1a
Responsible and accountable for a group of patients during a designated time frame and to provide care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. Supervises the activities of Licensed Practical Nurses, Unit Assistants, Monitor Technicians, Certified Nursing Assistance, Nurse Technicians, unit clerks and Paramedic technicians.
One Year Of Acute Emergency Department Experience Preferred.
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 20 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
