Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Health System seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to organize and coordinate nursing care for patient groups in accordance with hospital policies. The RN provides direct patient care, monitors status, evaluates progress, and performs treatments while documenting observations.

The role involves recognizing and reporting clinical changes and participating in orientation, training, and personnel management to support a high-quality care environment. Requires AL RN license and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current AL RN License.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and coordinates delivery of nursing care to groups of patients.
• Provides direct patient care by monitoring physiological and behavioral status, evaluating patient progress and the effectiveness of interventions, and by performing treatments and procedures.
• Recognizes, reports and documents clinical observations.
• Participates in orientation, training and management of personnel.
