Qualifications

• 1+ years of direct nursing experience
• Associate's degree in nursing required
• Active, unrestricted TX RN license with BLS

Responsibilities

• Resource for the outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic and supporting teams (Oncology, Hematology, Neuro-Oncology, Stem Cell transplant, LACP, Vascular) as needed.
• Carry out physician orders including injections and med recs; collaborate with lab, infusion, child life, pharmacy, social work, home health and insurance teams.
• Answer calls/emails and other communications from patients and families; schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate labs, scans and procedures.
• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process and ensure care aligns with specialty standards.
• Communicate effectively to plan and coordinate care for complex cases across multiple disciplines.
