Qualifications

  • Current CPR, PALS, and ACLS certifications are required.

Job description

**Location:**Medical Center - Fort Worth**Department:**ENT IP APP**Shift:**Varying Shifts (United States of America)**Standard Weekly Hours:**20**Summary:**The NP/PA, Surgical - Inpatient ENT functions in a collaborative practice with physicians in the inpatient setting. Autonomously performs patient assessment, diagnosis, and intervention according to approved protocols. Develops and maintains own volume of patients under the supervision of a physician. Provides clinic coverage and may round for physicians during periods of absence.Prescribes a variety of modalities to meet wellness and illness needs, up to and including hospital rounding/consultation, assisting in surgery if appropriate and prescriptive authority.1-2 years of acute care experience highly preferred. Acute Care Certification required (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner)This is a part-time position - 20 hours per week (2 10-hour shifts).
