Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Staff Educator - RN to lead in-service education for our life plan community. You will plan, organize, and direct educational programs in accordance with applicable standards to ensure high-quality resident care.

You will manage training needs, develop CEU offerings, and collaborate with staff and consultants to implement program changes, while maintaining training materials and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience educating staff.
• Two years of experience in a long-term care or health-related field.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct all in-service educational programs.
• Coordinate annual Training Needs Analysis and education programs.
• Develop and implement CEU programs for staff.
• Collaborate with staff and consultants to implement changes.
• Maintain and update the Employee Resource Center and training materials.
• Oversee the NATCEP program portions and nursing education.
• Attend department meetings and in-service training as scheduled.
