Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management in Florida seeks an experienced nurse educator to lead our professional development program in long-term care and sub-acute settings.

You will onboard and train new staff, roll out regulatory training, and partner with leadership to ensure compliance and quality care.

Two+ years of nursing experience and an active RN license are required; CDC-IPC0 certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's degree or higher in Nursing (ASN or higher).
• Two (2+) years of nursing experience required.
• Clear and active RN licensure in the state of practice required.
• Long-Term Care or SNF nursing experience, or Clinical Education/Staff Development experience strongly preferred.
• CDC- IPCO Certification required or willing to complete within 5 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the professional development program in long-term care and sub-acute care / skilled nursing / short-term rehabilitation settings.
• Assist with onboarding and training new staff, training and facilitation of existing staff, and rollout of new compliance and regulatory training to ensure regulatory, credentialing and educational requirements are met.
