Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management is seeking a qualified Nurse Educator to lead staff development for our long‑term care and sub‑acute settings in Florida. You will oversee onboarding, training programs, and regulatory education to ensure high standards of care across the center.

Experience in LTC/SNF environments and a valid RN license are required. A CDC-IPCO certification or willingness to obtain within 5 days is preferred, with competitive compensation and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or above in Nursing (ASN) required.
• Clear and active RN licensure in the state of practice required.
• Two (2+) years' nursing experience required.
• Long-Term Care or SNF Nursing experience OR Clinical Education and Staff Development experience strongly preferred.
• CDC-IPCO Certification required or must be willing to complete within 5 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the professional development program in a long-term care and sub-acute care / skilled nursing / short-term rehabilitation setting.
• Assist with onboarding and training new staff, training and facilitation of existing staff, rolling out of new compliance and regulatory training, and ensuring the center remains in compliance with all regulatory, credentialing and educational requirements.
