Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management in Florida seeks an Registered Nurse to lead professional development within long-term care and sub-acute settings. You will oversee onboarding, training, and compliance with regulatory requirements while guiding staff through transition and growth.

The role requires state RN licensure, a minimum of two years' nursing experience in LTC/SNF environments, and familiarity with regulatory and credentialing processes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or above in Nursing (ASN) required.
• Clear and active Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in the state of practice required.
• Two (2+) years' nursing experience required.
• Long-Term Care or SNF Nursing experience OR Clinical Education and Staff Development experience strongly preferred.
• CDC - IPCO Certification required or must be willing to complete within 5 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the professional development program in a long-term care and sub-acute care / skilled nursing / short-term rehabilitation setting.
• Assist with onboarding and training new staff, ongoing training of existing staff, and ensure regulatory, credentialing and education requirements are met.
