Job summary

Mercy Hospital Saint Louis is seeking a Part-Time RN for the Float Pool. You will rotate across units including Med/Surg, ICU, CVICU, Oncology, Neurology, Orthopedics, and more, gaining broad clinical experience while supporting patient care across Mercy facilities.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year acute care RN experience, MO RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, and a BSN is preferred. Mercy offers strong benefits and growth opportunities with a weekend option.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience (6 months must be within the past year).
• Nursing degree from an accredited program (BSN preferred).
• Current RN license in Missouri.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across units in Mercy Float Pool.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and teams across the hospital.
• Maintain patients' rights and confidentiality while delivering care in a dynamic float environment.

Education

Nursing degree from an accredited program (BSN preferred)

Job description

Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patients care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patients' rights and confidentiality of patient information. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the goals of Mercy Health System, the Philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy, the State Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Professional and Business Ethics, and the Co-Worker Code of Conduct.
