Job summary

Samaritan Health Services is seeking a Staff Registered Nurse (RN) at Samaritan Medical Center in Oregon for FLSA7DAY- 12 Hours Night Shift. The role involves direct patient care, care planning, and supervision of staff in ICU/PCU/Telemetry or ED settings.

Requirements include a nursing degree, NYS RN license, BLS (ACLS/PALS as specified), and 2 years of recent critical care experience. A sign-on bonus up to $24,000 is offered along with a specialty float pool differential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current NYS RN license.
• BLS required. ACLS required or obtained within 3 months.
• PALS required within 3 months of hire, IV and IV contrast administration certification required.
• Coronary care course or successful completion of a challenge exam within the orientation period.
• 2 years recent (within 2 years) experience in critical care (ICU, PCU, Telemetry, or Emergency Department).
• Must be able to recognize safety issues for oneself and others.
• May be required to assume duties as a Charge Nurse.

• Required to float to Emergency, ICU, PCU, and med-surg.
