Job summary

Mobridge Regional Hospital & Clinics is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Specialty Clinic team in Mobridge, SD. You will provide high-quality nursing care, support examinations, and coordinate patient care across services.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient interactions, clinical documentation, and collaboration with multiple providers in a fast-paced clinic setting. RN licensure in SD and BLS/CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Dakota.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain certification through Mobridge Regional Hospital & Clinics.
• Strong communication, organization, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills.
• One year of clinic or hospital nursing experience preferred.
• Specialty clinic or outpatient nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and compassionate nursing care to specialty clinic patients.
• Assess patients, obtain and document clinical information, and use appropriate triage and critical-thinking skills.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, treatments, and diagnostic testing.
• Administer medications and immunizations and provide pre- and post-procedure care.
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, procedures, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate referrals, testing, medical records, appointments, and other patient care needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and healthcare team members.
• Assist with telehealth visits and specialty services as applicable.
• Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent patient needs.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and well-equipped clinical environment while following infection prevention and safety standards.
• Participate in department education, quality improvement, and other organizational initiatives.
