Job summary

Mobridge Regional Hospital & Clinics is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Specialty Clinic team. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside multiple specialty providers while delivering compassionate, high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

You will triage patients, assist with examinations and procedures, administer medications, educate patients, and coordinate referrals. South Dakota RN license and BLS are required, with clinic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in South Dakota or eligibility to convert license.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in clinics or outpatient settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to specialty clinic patients.
• Assess patients, document information, and triage as needed.
• Assist with examinations, procedures, treatments, and tests.
• Administer medications and immunizations; provide peri-procedural care.
• Educate patients and families on medications and follow-up care.
• Coordinate referrals, testing, and medical records.
• Support telehealth visits and communication within the care team.
• Maintain a safe, organized clinical environment following infection control.

Mobridge Regional Hospital & Clinics s is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Specialty Clinic team. This position provides an opportunity to work alongside multiple specialty providers while delivering compassionate, high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide professional and compassionate nursing care to specialty clinic patients.
• Assess patients, obtain and document clinical information, and use appropriate triage and critical-thinking skills.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, treatments, and diagnostic testing.
• Administer medications and immunizations and provide pre- and post-procedure care.
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, procedures, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate referrals, testing, medical records, appointments, and other patient care needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and healthcare team members.
• Assist with telehealth visits and specialty services as applicable.
• Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent patient needs.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and well-equipped clinical environment while following infection prevention and safety standards.
• Participate in department education, quality improvement, and other organizational initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Dakota.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain certification through Mobridge Regional Hospital & Clinics.
• Strong communication, organization, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple providers and as part of a team.
• One year of clinic or hospital nursing experience preferred.
• Specialty clinic or outpatient nursing experience preferred.
