Job summary

Sanford Health in Moorhead is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Pediatric Clinic team. You will provide telephone triage using evidence‑based protocols while applying your RN scope, clinical judgment, and autonomy to guide care decisions.

The clinic operates Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with about 28 hours per week. You’ll be cross-trained to other Pediatric Clinics in the Fargo-Moorhead area and supported by a friendly, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current RN license and state board licensure.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Healthcare experience in primary care or pediatrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer patient inquiries via telephone using triage algorithms.
• Provide patient and family education and guidance.
• Perform nursing assessments and apply clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with providers to direct patients to appropriate care.

The Moorhead Pediatric Clinic nurses work as a team with each other and the Pediatrician's to provide excellent patient care to the kids in our community. This location promotes close working relationships and collaboration.

The Children's Clinic is a friendly and fun environment.

In this role, you will provide telephone triage using evidence-based protocols while also exercising your full RN scope-applying critical thinking, clinical judgment, and autonomy to guide care decisions.

Clinic is open Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. This role will work 5 to 9 days a pay period.

This individual will be cross trained to our other Pediatric Clinics in the Fargo Moorhead community.

Summary

Answers patient inquiries over the telephone, assessing the severity of the patient's symptoms and medical needs according to triage algorithms.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinic team. These RNs collaborate with providers to guide patients to the appropriate level of care.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.

One year of healthcare experience preferred.

Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Nurses performing nursing practice over the telephone require licensure in the states where the patients being served reside. Within first 30 days of employment, all requirements to obtain license needed for role is completed. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
