Qualifications

• Education from an accredited school of nursing leading to RN licensure.
• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• CPR/AED certification required, or willing to obtain within six months.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' health status on admission and ongoing basis.
• Develop and revise care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Document care plans, including cognition changes and regulatory requirements.
• Identify nursing interventions, orders, and educational needs.
• Perform medication administration, treatments, and IV adjustments safely.
• Communicate changes to IDT and families using SBARR as needed.
• Assist with call lights and daily resident care activities.
• Adhere to quality and safety standards and participate in QAPI initiatives.
