Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license.
• Clinical experience in healthcare.
• Ability to teach and evaluate hands-on skills.
• Strong communication and organization abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person skills labs, demonstrations, simulations, practice sessions, and competency checkoffs.
• Teach and reinforce patient care basics, vital signs, infection control, PPE, hand hygiene, safety, documentation, and professionalism.
• Support phlebotomy and EKG-related skills instruction when qualified.
• Monitor student progress in online or hybrid course components as assigned.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and remediation for students who need additional support.
• Complete attendance, skills checkoff, remediation, and student progress documentation.
• Help prepare lab spaces, equipment, supplies, and instructional materials.
• Support student readiness for certification, clinical or live practice, and entry-level healthcare employment.
• Work with the Director of Workforce Development, program instructors, curriculum vendors, and employer partners to align training with workforce needs.
• Maintain a safe, professional learning environment.
• Follow all D'Youville policies and applicable program, certification, regulatory, safety, and documentation requirements.
