Job summary

Oakwood Village in Madison, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Skilled Nursing team at the West Madison campus on a part-time schedule. The RN will participate in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of resident care, collaborating with shifts, interdisciplinary staff and physicians.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin RN license required.
• CPR certification required.
• One year relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of geriatric care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs resident care including medication administration, treatment, therapy, basic teaching and reinforcement education.
• Documents changes in condition, intervention and resident response; updates Care Plan with floor RN as appropriate; communicates Care Plan changes.
• Delivers nursing care in accordance with Nurse Practice Act, state and federal regulations applicable to SNF and Oakwood Village policies.
• Collaborates with nursing team, medical consultants, and other staff to ensure resident and family needs are met.
