Job summary

Signature HealthCARE Fentress Co. in Byrdstown, TN is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver direct resident care, administer medications, perform skilled nursing procedures, and supervise nursing assistants during the shift.

You will develop and review individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team, monitor residents’ status, document thoroughly, and coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges in accordance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Supervisory/charge nurse experience preferred.
• Familiarity with EHR systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and administer medications.
• Assist residents with ADLs, ensuring comfort, dignity and safety.
• Supervise nursing assistants and medication aides during shifts.
• Monitor residents’ status and notify physicians of changes.
• Develop and review individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation per facility policy.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges per procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance and regulatory surveys as needed.
