Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Experience: Monitor experience or EKG course completion required.
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid RN license; BLS CPR; ACLS/PALS, CPI and NIHSS within orientation.
• Preferred: ENPC, TNCC, CEN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and documents a written plan of care within specified timeframe.
• Performs patient interventions completely and proficiently with age-specific competency.
• Provides appropriate treatment in emergency situations as they arise.
• Verifies orders during hospitalization, including medication reconciliation and test scheduling.
