Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of CNA course.
• CNA certification within 6 months of employment or completion of Nursing Fundamentals program.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required within 7 days of hire.
• CPI training required within orientation.

Responsibilities

• Check patient blood sugar and document results.
• Record vital signs and report abnormalities.
• Assist with activities of daily living under supervision.
• Provide care across age groups from infant to geriatric.
• Coordinate clerical and public relations tasks for the unit.
