Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health in Fort Collins seeks a Registered Nurse for the Short Stay department. This full-time, onsite position is 72 hours per pay period, Day shift, with pay between $35.29 and $54.71 per hour based on experience.

You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and precept new staff. Requires RN license, BLS, and at least 6 months of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program and state board approval if less than 3 years experience.
• State licensure as an RN.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross with card in-hand before start date; valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes.
• Prioritize wellness, patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.
• Precept and mentor new staff or students as appropriate.
• Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care.
