Job summary

The Blaire House of Worcester is seeking an energetic Registered Nurse to uphold our high standards for senior care. Working under the Director of Nursing, you will oversee nursing care on your assigned unit and supervise charge nurses to ensure vital signs are accurately recorded and care plans are followed.

You will recognize patient changes, assist physicians, administer medications as prescribed, and maintain complete nursing documentation.

Qualifications

• RN graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current registration with State Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• One year supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with nursing home policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for nursing care to patients within an assigned unit.
• Oversees charge nurses to assure all vital signs are taken and recorded.
• Supervises medication administration as prescribed by physician.
• Assists physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic measures.
• Maintains accurate nursing observations and care records.
