Job summary

CON-V-CARE INC in Woonsocket, RI is seeking an RN Supervisor to lead daily nursing operations on the 3pm-11pm shift. You will oversee LPNs, CNAs, and support staff, ensuring high-quality resident care and strict regulatory compliance.

The role requires an active Rhode Island RN license, CPR, and at least two years of nursing experience with supervisory exposure. You will coordinate care, support family communications, and drive performance with a strong emphasis on patient safety.

Qualifications

• Valid, unencumbered RN license in Rhode Island.
• Current CPR certification.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience, preferably in SNF/LTC or post-acute rehab.
• At least one year of supervisory/charge nurse experience.
• Strong knowledge of SNF regulations, survey processes, and MDS basics.
• Proficiency in MatrixCare.
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, guide, and mentor nursing staff to ensure safe resident care.
• Manage shift staffing levels and handle call-outs.
• Provide real-time feedback and participate in formal evaluations.
• Conduct rounds and monitor resident status; escalate as needed.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges during the shift.
• Ensure compliance with DOH, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and facility policies.
• Document incidents and medication errors per reporting protocols.
