Job summary

Samaritan Nursing and Rehab in West Bend, WI is seeking an RN Shift Supervisor to lead the nursing team and coordinate patient care while ensuring high standards of nursing practice.

The role focuses on supervising staff, maintaining quality care, and educating patients and families on care plans, with responsibilities aligned to state and federal regulations and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring quality nursing care to all residents/patients.
• Ensures that the nursing department is adequately staffed to provide quality care to patients/residents.
• Ensures the provision of in-service/staff development programs that contribute to meeting nursing objectives and standards and comply with all state and federal regulations.
• Provides clinical expertise to facilitate and support the nursing process in patient/ resident interventions.
• Assists in ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for patients/residents, employees and visitors.
• Exercises administrative and functional supervision over nursing personnel as directed by the Director of Nursing and Assistant DON.
