Job summary

Samaritan Nursing and Rehab is seeking an RN Shift Supervisor to oversee nursing care for residents, educate patients and families on prevention and healthy habits, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes high standards of professionalism, courteous care, and a supportive work environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising nursing staff, coordinating care plans, and promoting speedy recovery while maintaining nutrition-focused meals and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of management experience.
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Valid RN nursing license in the state of Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring quality nursing care to all residents/patients and support nursing objectives and standards.
• Ensure nursing department is adequately staffed to provide quality care.
• Provide in-service/staff development programs and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide clinical expertise to support nursing processes in patient/resident interventions.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients/residents, employees and visitors.
• Exercise administrative supervision over nursing personnel as directed by DON/ADON.
• Support clinical processes and nursing interventions as needed.
