Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an experienced Nursing Administrator to oversee hospital operations during nights and weekend shifts.

The role includes staffing, emergency direction, incident handling, and counseling staff for policy adherence. Requires RN license in GA, BLS/ACLS, and 3–5 years hospital nursing experience; 1–2 years in leadership preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with ADN or BSN.
• Current RN license from the Georgia BON or an equivalent eNLC license.
• BLS required upon hire.
• ACLS required upon hire or within one year of hire.
• 3-5 years of nursing experience in a hospital environment.
• 1-2 years as a charge nurse or other management position preferred.

Responsabilités

• Act as the Administrator of the hospital in the absence of management on nights and weekends.
• Oversee staffing, emergency direction and handling complaints appropriately.
• Notify the Administrator on call of emergent situations that might jeopardize the facility.
• Counsel employees for actions that are against policy.
