Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Northside in Columbus, GA seeks a dedicated hospital administrator to oversee on-site operations after normal business hours. You will supervise nursing staff, manage staffing on a shift basis, monitor bed availability, and coordinate with Admissions and Bed Control to sustain patient flow and safety.

Requirements include graduation from a nursing program, 3 years of hospital nursing experience, and Georgia RN licensure with BCLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program.
• 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Demonstrated clinical competency.
• RN license in Georgia with BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain quality patient care on assigned shift.
• Direct and coordinate with Admissions and Bed Control for patient flow.
• Monitor bed availability and surge capacity measures.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate staffing on a shift-to-shift basis.
• Act as on-site hospital administrator after normal business hours.
• Assess administrator-on-call contact requests and act within the disaster plan.
