Onyx Care of Natchitoches is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead nursing assistants, oversee shift activities, and administer medications under physician orders. You will collaborate with departments to maintain high-quality resident care and ensure safety and confidentiality throughout your shift.

Qualifications

• Current Louisiana Nursing License (Required).
• Current CPR certification (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and plan shift services.
• Provide written and oral reports on shift activities and admit/discharge residents as needed.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain rapport with inter-departmental staff to ensure quality nursing services.
• Monitor staff for safety and proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information.
