Qualifications

Current Illinois Nursing License (Required)
Current CPR certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and plan the shift's services, programs and activities.
Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning shift activities; admit, transfer and discharge residents; provide leadership to nursing staff.
Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
Develop and maintain working rapport with inter-departmental personnel to ensure nursing services meet resident needs.
Monitor staff to follow safety regulations in use of equipment and supplies.
Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information.
