Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Make written & oral reports/recommendations concerning shift activities.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required; provide leadership to nursing personnel.
• Prepare & administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop & maintain good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel to support nursing services.
• Monitor personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Education

Illinois Nursing License (Current)
