Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation seeks an registered nurse to manage medication supervision and clinical care in a Maine Gorham community. You will assess residents, participate in care planning, and coordinate with the director of nursing for documentation and safety.

You must have an active RN license, CPR certification, and English fluency. The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to respond rapidly to emergencies in a sub-acute or memory care setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school; or Two years related experience and/or training.
• Area of Study: Nursing
• Must have a Registered Nurse’s License current, with no judgments against it, in the state in which he/she is practicing and must be CPR certified
• Language Skills: Acceptable fluency in English to perform duties and communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and third parties.

Responsibilities

• Medication supervision/administration in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.
• Admissions of new residents to include all admission assessments and documentation.
• Complete acute and long-term care plans or service plans.
• Clinical system tracking under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
• Discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as indicated.
• Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community.
• Notify physicians and/or family members of health changes and document accordingly.
• Respond quickly to emergencies.
• Maintain communication with all departments and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ information.
• Understand role in Safety & Disaster Plan.
• Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.
