Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Wind Crest community seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to promote and restore residents’ health. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide physical and psychosocial support, ensuring high-quality care and resident-focused services.

Expect 12-hour shifts, full-time or per diem, with a compensation range of $41-$50 per hour based on experience. The role requires an active RN license, CPR, and at least 6 months of RN experience in a senior care setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience.
• Experience caring for seniors or cognitive impairment is preferred.
• CPR certification required; state-specific regulations apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform clinical duties per state nurse practice act and nursing standards.
• Promote independence by teaching residents and families about condition, medications and self-care.
• Monitor residents' conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Maintain infection prevention and administer medications per orders.
• Document promptly and accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team discussions.
