Seasonal Nights; 13-week contract - 1st week of full orientation, then 3-12 hour shifts per week.

Experience Requirements: 2 years of nursing experience, PCU experience preferred.

PCU Oncology

Our PCU Oncology unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high-acuity patients. Are you looking to increase your knowledge base? Our PCU Oncology leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building for every team member.

Patient Population: PCU/SDU, Med/Surg Oncology, Chemo, Postop surgery (breast, bladder, lung, colon, and crani), Cardiac drips, Palliative Care (end of life and hospice support).

Patient Ratios: 1:4 for PCU and Chemo; 1:5 for Med/Tele.

Number of Beds: 20 beds.

Department Specifics
  • Active Unit Based Council
  • Pharmacist and Social Worker on the unit during the day
  • Multidisciplinary Team collaboration
  • Chemotherapy training required within the first 90 days

As a Registered Nurse, you will oversee patient care using a professional practice model, including assessment, care planning, and evaluation.
