Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - Grapevine as a Registered Nurse!

* Seasonal Nights; 13-week contract - 1st week of full orientation, then 3-12 hour shifts per week

Experience Requirements
  • 2 years of nursing experience
  • 1 year of PCU experience
About the Unit: PCU Oncology

Our PCU Oncology unit is a fast-paced environment with high-acuity patients. We foster an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and growth for every team member.

Patient Population & Ratios
  • Patient Population: PCU/SDU, Med/Surg Oncology, Chemo, Postop surgery (various types), Cardiac drips, Palliative Care
  • Patient Ratios: 1:4 for PCU and Chemo; 1:5 for Med/Tele
  • Number of Beds: 20 beds
Department Specifics

Active Unit Based Council, Pharmacist and Social Worker during the day, Multidisciplinary Team, Chemotherapy training within first 90 days, and a culture that celebrates excellence.
