RN Rotation: 6-8 Weeks, 3-4 Units, Path to Permanent Role

Job summary

Novant Health’s Perfect Match Program rapidly places experienced RNs into the right clinical environment through short-term rotations before permanent placement. Selected RNs rotate through 3–4 units within the same service line over a 6–8 week period, allowing both the nurse and the team to determine the best long-term fit.

Strongly preferred: at least 2 years of recent experience in the same service line within the last 3 years; graduate of an accredited nursing program; current RN licensure;

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of acute nursing experience required.
• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.
• 4 Year / Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
• If your RN license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.

Responsibilities

• Short-term rotational experience (6-8 weeks) within one service line.
• Exposure to 3-4 units within that specialty area.
• Opportunity for permanent placement following rotation.
