Job summary

HCA Florida Memorial Hospital is seeking an RN Risk Manager to lead risk, patient safety and regulatory compliance in our Florida facility. You will oversee variance analyses, incident investigations, education, and policy development.

Qualifications include a Florida RN license, a bachelor’s degree, and 3 years’ risk or quality experience; CPPS preferred. CPPS must be obtained within 1 year of start date. The position includes comprehensive benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• CPPS must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3 years experience required.
• Current FL RN License is required.
• Quality, Risk or patient safety experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform office work related to the hospital's legal operations with discretionary independent judgement on risk matters.
• Oversee variance analyses, prioritization, investigation, and timely follow-up.
• Coordinate grievance responses and medical device recall procedures in compliance with laws and policies.
• Assist with education, policy development and risk-reduction activities.
• Prepare annual Risk Management report and support AHCA survey readiness.
