Community Medical Centers in Fresno, CA seeks a Registered Nurse Risk Manager for an ongoing staff position. The role is 40 hours per week, days, 8-hour shifts.

The RN Risk Management Coordinator conducts in-depth clinical analysis on patient safety and quality issues, coordinating performance improvement and data tracking across the facility or system. Requires a CA RN license, 3 years in QA-related fields, and relevant certifications within 2 years of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or relevant field is required.
• 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Case Management, Discharge Planning, Utilization Review, Infection Control or nursing project development/education required.
• RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within California required.
• One of the following certifications within 2 years of hire: CPHQ, CPHRM, or National Certification related to specialty.

Responsibilities

• The RN Risk Management Coordinator provides in-depth clinical analysis on confidential patient safety, peer, quality and risk issues. Facilitates and coordinates performance improvement projects and data tracking from a facility-specific or system perspective.
