Job summary

Community Medical Centers in Fresno/Clovis CA seeks an RN Risk Management Coordinator to deliver clinical analysis on patient safety and risk issues. You will drive performance improvement projects and coordinate data tracking across facility and system levels.

Required: Bachelor's in Nursing or related field, CA RN licensure, and 3 years in QA/Case Management or related nursing roles; certifications such as CPHQ/CPHRM/NATIONAL within 2 years are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education required: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in Quality Assurance, Case Management, Discharge Planning, Utilization Review, Infection Control, or nursing project development.
• Active CA RN license; certification within 2 years of hire (CPHQ/CPHRM/NATIONAL or equivalent).

The RN Risk Management Coordinator provides in-depth clinical analysis on confidential patient safety, peer, quality and risk issues. Facilitates and coordinates performance improvement projects and data tracking from a facility-specific or system perspective.

Qualifications

• Education Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or relevant field required
• Experience 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Case Management, Discharge Planning, Utilization Review, Infection Control or nursing project development/education required
• Licenses and Certifications
  • RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
  • One of the following is required within 2 years of hire or transfer into position
    • CPHQ - Certified Professional Healthcare Quality
    • CPHRM - Certified Healthcare Risk Management
    • NATIONAL - National Certification related to specialty and applicable to role
