Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• 3–5 years of claims/risk management experience in an acute care facility.

Responsibilities

• Designs, coordinates, and oversees Memorial Medical Center's risk management program to promote patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Investigates and manages potentially compensable events, claims, and litigation; develops policies and corrective actions.
• Collaborates with administration, medical staff, insurers, and regulators to ensure compliance and effective communication.
• Maintains systems for tracking risk-related data and participates in committees and interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes.
