Job summary

Belcan Corporation is seeking a Return to Work Case Manager (RN) in Clayton, NC. The RN will manage medical case management for employees injured on the job and handle non-work absences, coordinating with insurers, physicians, and management to promote early return to work.

Required are a registered nursing license in NC or CA, and 1 year (BS) or 3 years (ADN) of related workers' compensation experience. Certification in COHN/COHN-S is preferred with ADA/OSHA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year (BS) or 3 years (ADN) of related experience in workers' compensation case management.
• Licensed to practice nursing in NC or CA, depending on location.
• Certification in COHN/COHN-S preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ADA/interactive process and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate medical care related to worker's compensation injuries.
• Work with adjusters, providers, managers to coordinate care and return to work.
• Determine fitness to return to duty and develop light duty plans.
• Create case management plans and evaluate progress.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical and demographic information.
• May provide occupational health services to plasma centers.
• Serve as rotating on-call staff for US operations.
• Build strong relationships with staff nurses to integrate medical services.
