Qualifications

• RN with a state license to practice in NC/CA as applicable.
• Experience in workers' compensation case management and occupational health.
• Knowledge of ADA and interactive process.
• COHN-S or COHN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate medical care related to workers' compensation injuries; manage all accepted, routine lost time claims.
• Collaborate with adjusters, medical providers, and managers to coordinate care and support return-to-work goals.
• Determine fitness to return to duty; assess physical capability and work restrictions with physicians.
• Develop and evaluate case management plans; ensure cost-effective medical care.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical and demographic information.
• Create and maintain Employee Medical Files and related records.
• Conduct medical accommodation determinations under ADA; coordinate interactive process with management and HR.
• May provide occupational health services at plasma center locations; perform telephonic triage to assess care level for injured workers.
• Provide nursing care for occupational/non-occupational injuries via treatment, assessment, first aid, and referrals.
• Serve as rotating on-call staff for US operations.
